Introducing Wilbur!

He is one of a litter of 7 puppies that were surrendered to a shelter. The surrenderer said their DOB is 06/21/26, making them 18 weeks old now. We and the shelter are in agreement that there's no way Wilbur & his siblings are that old. We're estimating him to be more like 12 weeks old currently. Wilbur was 17lbs at his vet appt on 10/23/26.

His foster mom has this to say:
"Wilbur has the most adorable ears, unique brindle eye patches, and a personality to match his looks. He's playful and curious like any puppy his age, but he's also got a really sweet, laid-back side. He loves his toys and exploring our home, but when he's done playing, he's more than happy to curl up next to you and take a nap. He can be a little shy when meeting new people and just needs a few minutes to warm up and get comfortable. The same goes for the great outdoors! He's still figuring out the outside world, and sometimes all the new sights, sounds, and smells can be a little overwhelming. He's not quite an adventurous outdoor explorer just yet, but he's learning at his own pace.
-
Potty and crate training: He's making great progress with both and sleeps through the night for 8 hours, with no accidents!
-
Smart and eager to learn: He's very food-motivated (making training a breeze!) and responds well to direction. He's curious about the world around him, but redirects easily.
-
Playful but knows how to relax: He loves playing with his toys and exploring indoors, but he's also really good at settling down when it's time to snuggle up.
-
Good with other dogs: He's been great with every dog he's met, both inside and outside the house. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs will be required to make sure everyone gets along. He hasn’t met any cats yet, so we’re not sure how he feels about them.
-
Great with kids: He absolutely loves his 11-year-old foster sister! He's playful and easygoing and doesn't mind having his ears, face, paws, or tail touched.
-
Loves his people: Wilbur is happiest just being wherever his people are. He loves company, cuddles, and being included in whatever is going on. We think he'd make an especially great work-from-home buddy. He'll happily keep you company while you work and be ready for some playtime or a nap when you take a break!
Wilbur is a really great little puppy, and it's been so much fun watching him grow and learn. He's got a wonderful personality and is off to a great start with his training. He's still figuring out this big world, so he'll need a family willing to give him a little patience and encouragement along the way. In return, they'll get a whole lot of puppy love!"
