Introducing Clovis! She is est to be 3yo, spayed, HW negative, and weighs 28lbs.

Her foster mom has this to say:

Clovis was found in a home with many dogs who were malnourished and/or deceased. Despite these heartbreaking conditions, Clovis is believed to also have been a mother in the past. She has survived this ordeal and is now living with us and our two dogs while searching for her forever home. Clovis gets along well with other dogs but would thrive best with dogs who are calm and gentle, as she is still very shy and learning to trust. Her adopter will need patience and a willingness to help her overcome her fears. She is afraid of loud noises and sudden movements and can be reactive to them by running. Therefore, she would also need a secure fenced in yard. She has begun approaching us for some gentle pets when we're sitting quietly on the couch. Although not yet ready for leash training, we plan to work on her walking skills once she feels more comfortable. Clovis enjoys laying on the couch next to our dogs and will accept scratches and light hugs from us. We believe that, in time, Clovis will overcome her challenges and become the perfect family dog. Until then, a home with older children who understand her special needs would be ideal.
