Meet Betty!

She is a 6-1/2 year old Pitbull/Boxer mix looking for a new home. Betty weighs approximately 60 pounds and is spayed.

 

Betty enjoys chewing on a hard toy/bone, enjoying relaxing time with her family, and loves being spoiled with treats (she is food/treat motivated). She loves cuddling up on the couch with a nice warm blanket and watching movies/tv with her family. Once Betty picks a spot on the couch, it will always be her go-to spot!

 

Betty is house-trained as well as crate trained. She knows her basic commands such as sit, shake (with both paws), and down. She walks well on a leash, but can pull sometimes, so she does best with a harness. Betty enjoys her walks and does well with distractions, people, and other dogs around while on her adventures. While on her way to a new adventure, Betty enjoys her car ride and feeling the wind in her hair (riding with the window down).

 

She would love a fenced in yard where she can enjoy basking in the sun during the nice weather, as this is one of her favorite activities! Even though Betty does not enjoy going for a swim, she still welcomes her bath/spa time.

 

She does well with her chicken friends; however, Betty needs a home with either no other dogs or a male dog, and a home with older children.

 

She does well if you have to leave to go to work for the day, however, be prepared to be overwhelmed with all her love when you return home, she will tell you how much she missed you! Betty will love you with all her heart and be your biggest protector.

 

She loves her family and wants to make sure they are always safe. Betty will let you know when a visitor is at your door but will love them just as much with a little time.
