Introducing Gizmo!

 

He is estimated to be about 2 years old, weighs under 20lbs, is Heartworm negative, and neutered.

His foster mom has this to say:

“Gizmo is a love bug. He gets along great with our family dog and is very affectionate with people. He enjoys playing ball but his favorite activity by far is receiving lots of pets. He is crate trained and potty trained, and has excellent recall when he hears his name. He learned to sit and we are working on some additional obedience skills and leash training.

 

He loves his crate, and it is his safe place. He likes to collect toys and bones and makes special piles around the house. The youngest kid he has been around since he arrived was 10 years old, and Gizmo did well with him. We do not have kids of our own, so I cannot speak to how he does with younger children. He did react in a few instances where there was sudden movement or loud noises that made me think he might do best with a family that has older children, but again I have not seen him around smaller children.

 

Gizmo would be a great addition to a family that has a lot of love and can be gentle with small dogs.”
