Meet Buddy! 💙 Buddy is an 8 year old Terrier-Dachshund mix. He was surrendered to a shelter in AL when his elderly owners had to move into a no-pets-allowed facility.

 

His foster mom has this to say:

"Buddy is a super fun guy! Don't let his age fool you, he has a lot of spunk still. He loves everyone he meets! Buddy is also super dog-friendly. He has gotten along great with both our resident dogs, who can be very rambunctious at times.  

 

Buddy is happy to go out for walks and play, but is just as happy to hang out with you on the couch. We don't believe Buddy had been around cats before. He wasn't sure what to make of our cats at first and did want to chase them when they were playing or quickly moving by. But he has made great progress with the cats and is happy now just to hang out with them. He does need to be reminded every once in a while to 'Leave it' when the cats are playing.

 

Buddy is a great dog all around!"
